Ma Driving Lisence Forgot

Surprise at the grouper fishing

Sunday morning came forward Julian at me and asked if I wanted to go a few hours of fishing. Since I am a long time not come for fishing and by the continuing freezing temperatures in recent weeks had also not too much fancy the idea, I agreed immediately.
At 12 I was at the lake and built up my Angel. The weather was really good and allowed at least initially cloudless sky it even again to catch on sweaters.
Julian came a few minutes on this later when I had just made the first litters.

The water, which late last year was marked by prolonged rains had still clouded dark brown, greenish under the ice in less than three months-blue colored and had a vision of an estimated depth of two meters.

We fished Kopytos relatively small in the deeper areas around the dam.
The normally very rich in fish lake but wanted nothing to show from his potential. No plucking, no small fish and no roach shoals which became noticeable in the line were to exercise. The last time I had to visit the lake in the same places still to be careful not to constantly small white fish hook.
water birds were not many on the lake, only in the middle of the lake from the shore inaccessible swam about a few cormorants.
After two hours without a fish contacts, we decided to change the lake and drove to the inlet side of the Emmer.
Since we do not interfere with any already spawning pike in the shallow inlet areas of the lake would, we fished only in the pent-up river bed of the Emmer, the few hundred yards we were allowed to fish for our permission yet.

Since reduced over the dam in winter always the water level by about one meter, some gravel banks of the Emmer came here in some places to light in the deeper river bed were still enough deep areas. First we fished
under a stone bridge in the hope that this can look a little happiness to a perch. However, we also got
no clear bites and so began Julian Downstream a bit, standing on a gravel bar to fish in a deeper channel.

reported Julian few minutes a fish and as I looked around, I saw him with curved rod in the drill. The fish did not fight badly, but initially was undecided what Julian had his hands on 5cm rubber fish. The fighting behavior of the fish did not speak for a perch, even for a possibly unwanted pike or perch.

What then in the clear water was surprised both of us. It was a beautiful grayling.

the rubber fish disappeared completely into her delicate mouth. For Julian, it was the first After a few photos of this kind of fish we put the big one back, particularly since the close season for grayling had started 4 days ago.

With such a magnificent fish we would have expected but not both. No one could have guessed that a mullet also lays hands on a rubber fish.
As the fishing again swam, we fished for a while longer, but then left because of the vanishing sun the sea. The fingers were uncomfortably cold and the fish hardly made any sense.
